mm2Michael McLarney is the Founder and Editor of the HARDLINES newsletter, the premier source for information on home improvement retailing in Canada. He is also Managing Director, Canada of The North American Retail Hardware Association.

With 25 years of experience covering and analyzing the retail home improvement industry, his background includes 10 years as Editor of Hardware Merchandising. During that time, he created that magazine’s prestigious “Outstanding Retailer Awards” and its annual “Top 100 Report”.

He edits the weekly HARDLINES newsletter for retail executives, Hardlines Home Improvement Quarterly magazine for dealers, and oversees a range of annual reports that analyze the size and growth of the retail home improvement industry. As Managing Director of NRHA Canada, Mr. McLarney is in charge of providing member services, including NRHA’s online product knowledge education, to more than 1,500 independent dealer-members in Canada.

Considered the leading retail analyst for Canada's home improvement sector, Mr. McLarney is a dynamic and thought-provoking speaker who has appeared at business conferences in the U.S., Canada and Europe. He has been quoted in many of Canada's leading business publications and is a frequent guest on radio and television programs across the country.

In 2011, he received the Industry Achievement Award from the Lumber and Building Materials Dealers Association of Ontario.

bev4wBeverly Allen is the Publisher for HARDLINES. Ms Allen has been instrumental in the growth of the HARDLINES Information network, North America's leading source for news and analysis covering the retail hardware and home improvement industry. She has effectively built the base of subscribers and sponsors that contribute to the growth of the HARDLINES network. As Publisher, she also manages advertising sales for our new print publication, Hardlines Home Improvement Quarterly.

In addition, she serves as Event Manager for the HARDLINES Conference Series, held annually in October.

Her views and insights on the home improvement industry have made her a valuable source of information for media and analysts, and have found her quoted in newspapers and business publications throughout North America. Ms.Allen has many years of experience managing small businesses, heading up university financial aid programs in the U.S., and conducting specialized training programs.

bradyBrady Peever is the Circulation Manager and Marketing Manager for Hardlines Inc. He handles circulation, client services, and all things media-related at the HARDLINES World Headquarters. He also manages membership issues for NRHA Canada.

Brady’s background in Corporate Media Production has taken him from Technical Services at the CN Tower to staging concerts and now to HARDLINES. He takes care of our subscribers and NRHA members and his duties include: newsletter creation, website updates, HARDLINES TV, e-marketing, and co-planning the Hardlines Annual Conference.
