Ace brand looms large at TruServ Show

WINNIPEG — While still technically TruServ Canada, the presence of the Ace name at the latest dealer show for RONA’s Winnipeg-based hardware distribution business was everywhere.

RONA secured the Canadian license for Ace just over a year ago, opening doors for the conversion of existing TRU dealers to Ace, as well as recruitment from other banners.  Based on the number of dealers at this show that have made the switch, the Ace name has had a lot of appeal. Those dealers walked the show floor this past weekend (the show ends today), checking out new products from the 300-plus vendors on hand, as well as the growing range of private-label lines available from Ace.
