SEATTLE — Amazon is offering Seattle-area customers one-hour delivery of fresh food and other products. The mobile Prime Now app is available to Amazon Prime subscribers in the company’s hometown, who can receive items like paper towels, wine and beer, and even televisions and Kindle devices at home within an hour of ordering. Free two-hour delivery and one-hour delivery for a nominal fee are offered from 8 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. Amazon kicked off one-hour delivery in the UK this summer, but it does not yet include fresh foods.
