MONTREAL — A struggling loonie means real challenges for the dollar store format, but Dollarama will not respond with price increases, according to chief financial officer Michael Ross. The chain’s fourth-quarter results surpassed industry estimates and in the days ahead it will seek to remain competitive by cutting gross margins, the Financial Post reports.
