ST. JACOBS, Ont. ― Home Hardware Stores in Prince Edward Island welcomed designer Simon Chang this week to look for inspiration from the Maritime province’s landscape, as well as to meet with homeowners and offer decorating advice. Dealer-owners in Charlottetown, Tignish, Alberton, O’Leary, Summerside, Souris, and North Rustico showcased the island’s culture and colours. “From the fishermen’s huts to roadside vegetable stands, to the rolling green hills, there are so many wonderful colours on this Island,” said Darrin Noble, VP and General Manager of Beauti-Tone Paint and Home Products Division. “Perhaps the next colour of the year will come from P.E.I.”
