MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Lowe’s will introduce robotic shopping assistants in late November at a San Jose, Calif., Orchard Supply Hardware store, the Wall Street Journal reports. The OSHbot will function as a greeter, ask if customers need assistance, and guide them to the products of their choice, displaying targeted ads along the way. The five-foot gizmos also feature two screens for video conferencing, for when a human store expert is needed.
