MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Florence Mill is the latest independent dealer to join the Castle banner. Located in Southwestern Ontario about an hour from Sarnia, the store has been family-owned and operated since its start in the 1970s. Today, under Jeff and Sue Rickman and their son Chris, it is a full service LBM outlet. The family chose Castle, Jeff says, because they “wanted to maintain that independence and continue to grow our business, not to become a small fish in a big pond.”
In addition, Castle last week welcomed Matériaux Direct in La Pocatière as its newest Quebec member. Owners Dany Levesque and Maxime Bossinotte are new to the LBM business, looking to meet a demand they have identified in their community. Levesque praised Castle as “the best buying group for an entrepreneur.”
